I just got back from vacation to my home town in Washington State. Ten beautiful days full of family, friends, fireworks and lots of food!. And completely guilt-free from any anxiety or worry from being off my nutrition and working out routine.
Our lives are not one dimensional! We can be pulled in a million different directions the moment we get up. If we are not careful, we can easily become drained… and fast! That is why we need to be making sure we fuel our body, not only with good nutrition, but also often, is important to keep us going and our energy levels up! So, how do we do that?
I looked at her toned arms, long legs, flat stomach, and flawless skin on the cover of Women’s Health Magazine, and without even thinking about it started shaming my own body. Self-consciously I thought to myself, “If this is how Women’s Health Magazine defines ‘healthy,’ then I must be far from it.”
